Alex Aksanov came from Midwood High in Brooklyn to enroll at Rutgers last year as one of the top tennis players on the East Coast. His cousin had gone to this same university, and Aksanov liked the coaches. He redshirted this season with a knee injury, while practicing with the varsity team. Now Aksanov is looking to get out as fast as he can, maybe transferring to St.John’s.
